WoodManager is one of PacSoft's Forest Products Industry applications for managing all aspects of mill inventory, order entry and processing, invoicing for mill operations and wholesale. Products and volumes are maintained as on-hand, committed and anticipated volumes. The WoodManager application handles multiple "Units of Measure" (UM) for the same products and interfaces with several financial systems. WoodManager also interfaces with PacSoft's WoodScan 2 application which generates "in the mill" Bar Code Tickets for inventory, production, shipping and receiving.

WoodManager manages lumber and panel production and inventory. It provides salesmen the capabilities to provide quotes, acknowledgements, sales orders, invoices and shipping documents for the sale of lumber and panel products.

WoodManager keeps a customer's inventory up-to-date with production, purchases, committed sales and shipments. User-defined multiple units of measure (UoMs) work in conjunction with dimensional calculations to manage lumber, panel, millwork, cutstock, posts and pilings, as well as other volumetric products. Inventory is maintained as ticketed or volume-only.
